The Anderson Center is home to 4 'schools' and several other organizations whose related missions add to the synergy among disciplines.
Tower View Alternative High School | website
Tower View Alternative High School offers programs for students between the ages of 16 and 21 (with ninth grade credit) who are experiencing difficulty in the traditional high school. Upon completion of graduation requirements, students receive a Red Wing High School Diploma.
Universal Music Center | website
The Universal Music Center combines music lessons with a live performance experience. Created and administered by national touring/recording artist and Rock and ROLL Hall of Fame inductee band the Lovin' Spoonful drummer Mike Arturi, the Universal Music Center offers an ongoing twelve week program. One on one private lessons teach the legitimate essentials of music in a fun "rock band" manner. Students are paired into bands, rehearse and perform a live concert at the end of each twelve week period. Music appreciation and master class workshops are also included in the program. Sheldon Theatre Performance School | website
A two week program designed to teach students how to create a successful Sheldon Theatre production. They act in a play and create the set, lights, sounds, costumes and marketing for the final workshop.
Sheldon Theatre Scene Shop | website
The Sheldon Scene Shop is jointly run by several theater organizations in the Red Wing area—Sheldon Theatre, Phoenix Community Theatre, as well as the Drama Department of the Red Wing School District.
Red Wing Photography Club | website
One of the largest of its kind in Minnesota and a member of the Photographic Society of America, the Red Wing Photography Club is a diverse group of individuals from amature to professional who share a love for the art of photography.
